There Peregrine is the smallest brushed fixed wing UAV in existence that can be printed with a FDM 3D printer. It is also the fastest printable fixed wing UAV, with all parts capable of being produced by one printer in under 12 hours (making 3d printed UAV swarms possible). It is also designed not to be glued together, so all parts are hot swap-able. The Peregrine is designed as a carefully folded single thickness solid, than can be printed mostly as a single extrusion on each layer. As opposed to designing the skin of the aircraft and the supporting structure separately, this method prints more quickly, has less retraction points and layer defects, and at this scale is a much lighter design method. Most importantly the strength of the part is improved because adhesion between the skin and structure is not an issue because they are the same part.

The wingspan is 250mm, and the weight is only 18 grams. The fuselage wraps around the wing and is secured at the back with two small m3 nylon screws. Servos that are mounted to the wing are locked into place when the fuselage is attached. The fuselage also support 11XX sized brushless motors, with a common 9mm mounting pattern, and sport a couple options for mounting cameras to the front of the fuselage (including lens mounts for the most common AIO FPV cameras, and screw mounts for higher quality dedicated cameras. Even with the camera added there is still room for a 800mah 3S battery internally, or up to a 30x30mm flight controller. Acess to the entire internals of the body can be had by simply removing two m3 screws.

The servo very close to the control horns, on the bottom side of the wing. The control surfaces are mounted with fiber infused packing tape, and articulated with classic servo arms and 1mm control rod.
